YOUTH FACILITATOR

My name is Victor, I prefer to be called “Vic.” I am really honored and have so much appreciation to be a youth mentor and group facilitator at Collective Roots APG.

Growing up I engaged in self destructive behaviors, utilizing substances to cope with my stressors and environment that has compelled me to do this line of work. Through my lived experience I can relate to what our youth go through and the many struggles that they endure.

I believe every youth has a true self outside of substance abuse, and through the power of RECOVERY, sobriety and resilience can be maintained. My life mission is to walk alongside our youth to help them live a meaningful sober life while they reach their fullest potential. The APG is an amazing outlet that supports our youth in maintaining sobriety through authentic services.
