Peer Support Program Supervisor - MHAAO

Hi, my name is Cody. I am a person in long-term recovery from addiction, gambling, criminal behavior, and depression since 6/6/2011. I'm a single dad to an amazing almost 7-year-old named Zander, who is my pride and joy. I always tell him, "Where I go, you go."

I've been working in the recovery community since 2014 in various roles, from addiction counseling to supporting housing programs, and most recently as a supervisor of a peer support program at MHAAO.

Born in Portland, Oregon, I lived in Washington state for the past 7 years before recently moving back to Portland.

I am passionate about a lot of things. One is advocating for harm reduction models for adults, allowing individuals to create their own pathways to recovery. My other passion to being able to support youth in their recovery journey because I truly believe that support needs to start at a younger age so they can break the family cycle.

People that know me know that I have a huge football fan and a diehard 49ers fan. I also enjoy just being able to be at home and spend time with my fiancé and the kids.
